Suffolk is not
well known for its gay scene. In fact, apart for the odd gay pub
or gay friendly establishment there's not much around. But there
are one or two gems out there and they are well worth hunting out.
Fortunately
with just a little travelling a lot more is open to us, particularly
if you feel like going all the way and trying the London scene.
Trains leave regularily from Colchester and Ipswich to Liverpool
St. At Colchester the car park is free at weekends. If you've not
been up to London you should try a day trip to Old Compton St (Picadilly
Circus Tube). Loads of gay bars and a fantastic atmosphere.
